Ade Akinola is the owner of Korems Foods & Variety Store, The new business opened in Ottawa’s East End in the middle of the COVID crisis. Korems specializes in African, Caribbean & Canadian food products. Here you will find anything from Jamaican patties to fashionable shoes, goat & mackerel to jeans & dashikis. Hair products to plantain chips, black beans to scarves. It’s the perfect place to shop and discover the Afro/Caribbean culture.
